Who counters who
Open the counter list →All 53 heroes and 1,225 matchups, every one of them with the mechanic behind it rather than a bare verdict. 346 are write-ups of ours naming a specific mechanic.
Every hero gets a page like this. Here are the three strongest answers, with the mechanic that makes each one work.
Every The Hood matchup →Wolverine's Savage Claw takes a percentage of maximum health per strike, so The Hood's 600 health pool works against him rather than for him.
Cloak's Terror Cape blinds him past 10m and adds 28% Vulnerability, and The Hood's Leaded Transformation only lifesteals on bullets that strike.
Iron Fist picks when and where this fight happens, so The Hood only ever takes it on Iron Fist's terms.

Ranked by how far a hero sits above their own average win rate on that map, which is our arithmetic over community match counts rather than a figure anyone publishes. Raw win rate would list the strongest heroes in the game on every map and tell you nothing about the map. These are the six most-played maps by recorded volume, and coverage is maps with enough recorded matches rather than every map in the game. Refreshed Aug 31, 2026.

Before you trust this
What these numbers are, where they come from, and what we deliberately do not show.
What is this Marvel Rivals page for?
The way in. Where the season is, how the roster ranks, who counters who, and which heroes over-perform on which map. Every section links through to the full version. Statistical data is based on external APIs and publicly available information. It may differ from official data.
Do you measure any of these numbers yourselves?
No. We do not run a data pipeline against the game. Win rates and match counts come from community sources, and where we do arithmetic on them, such as centring map performance against a hero's own average, the page says so rather than presenting the result as a published figure. These win rates are shrunk toward 50% in proportion to sample size at the source, so a rarely played hero reads closer to even than it actually played.
How often does this change?
The snapshots refresh weekly and the roster is current as of Season 9.5. A balance patch can move heroes several tiers, so treat any ranking here as this week's reading rather than a permanent verdict.
Where does the season countdown come from?
The half-season window is stated in prose on the community wiki, so the countdown is read off a source rather than estimated. It is computed in your browser rather than when the page was built, because these pages are prerendered weekly and a baked-in countdown would be days out of date while looking exact.
