Noor's Horus Lance Launcher fires projectiles that pierce shields, so Montagne's Le Roc Shield stops being cover: the extendable shield only protects against small-arms fire, and a lance goes through it and ignites.
The Le Roc Shield stops small-arms fire and close combat. It does not stop gas, so a Remote Gas Grenade dropped on an extended shield either moves Montagne or kills him behind it.
Two shields meet and only one of them can act: Clash tasers and backs off, and Montagne cannot shoot at all with the Le Roc extended.
