  • NotJoeyBlack: Treat it as a DMR that destroys walls, not a shotgun.
  • NotJoeyBlack: Do not run the Keratos, run the Bailiff, just because it's a secondary shotgun. I would run proxies because observation blockers are useless.

Counters

Rainbow Six counters are gadget interactions, rules of the game rather than statistics, so every pairing here comes from the two operators' own kit pages: the mechanism from whoever wins it, the gadget it beats from whoever brings it.

Who counters Alibi
  • ZeroATTMEDIUM

Prisma works by being approached and shot at. An Argus camera lodges in the wall beside it and fires a single laser, so the hologram is identified and destroyed from another room.

  • IQATTSOFT

Prisma sells a hologram as a Defender standing still. IQ's Electronics Detector shows her which of them is a projector, so the bait costs her nothing.

  • MontagneATTSOFT

Prisma punishes an Attacker who shoots first and identifies second. Montagne cannot shoot at all with the shield extended, so he walks a hologram down and marks nothing.

Who Alibi counters
  • IanaATTMEDIUM

Both operators sell a fake. Prisma marks whoever shoots or touches a hologram, so Iana's Replicator, which cannot shoot back, walks into a decoy that reports her position instead of collecting one.

  • SensATTSOFT

Sens drops a screen to cross a lane unseen, and a Prisma on the far side marks whoever comes through it, so the crossing is covered and announced anyway.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Alibi an Attacker or Defender?

Alibi is a Defender in Rainbow Six Siege.

Where do these counters come from?

Rainbow Six's counters are mostly deterministic gadget interactions, rules of the game rather than statistics, so we state them from the two operators' own kit pages with no telemetry needed. A pairing is only written where the winning operator's page names the mechanism, which is why plenty of operators here carry none. Statistical data is based on external APIs and publicly available information. It may differ from official data.

What is the best loadout for Alibi?

NotJoeyBlack and SINOOS publish loadout picks under their own name, and this page credits each of them rather than averaging them into a single answer. We measure nothing ourselves. The list of what Alibi can equip is the game's own, and is separate from anyone's opinion about it. Statistical data is based on external APIs and publicly available information.
